University of Exeter in one paragraph...
"Exeter is a buzzing place which is made so by the students but not to the level where it is a nuisance, just a reassuring presence. It is great fun and you get your work done. It is a university driven by experiences rather than timetables." says Tom - read the whole review here.

The best and worst things about University of Exeter:
"Very friendly and open, beautiful campus and city.
Some people find the city too small and tame in terms of night life.
There is a certain amount of public school cliquey-ness which is specific to some halls and is not particularly attractive. However, it is easily avoided! "

"Best is the campus, so scenic and well looked after. Unfortunately, for it to be scenic, it must be on a hill. Exeter has a bad press for being full of Public Schoolies.. This is partially true, but it is by no means exclusive."

"Friendly environment, but somewhat remote and secluded, having lived on campus."
Charlotte, doing Law - Read more
"Best: Good social scene.
Worst: Exeter has a reputation for being overly public-school dominated."
Jonty, doing Economics with International Relations - Read more
"The campus is the best thing, in that you feel part of a community and make friends extremely quickly. The worst thing is hard to put my finger on but I would say that there are a fair few snobs who keep themselves to themselves but like to flaunt their wealth etc."
Adam, doing History and German - Read more
"The best thing is the campus, which is very nice to hang around in. My group of friends are very nice.
The town is quite small which I don't like and most of the university buildings are quite old, without being historical, and ugly. The majority of students here are privately schooled, rich and a bit posh."
