University of Leeds in one paragraph...
"This university suits those people who like to work hard and play hard. There also is a strong political community at Leeds. The area is very student friendly; the university is situated in between the city centre and the densely student populated areas (Hyde Park and Headingly). I could not recommend this university enough; the staff are very friendly and there is always someone to help you whatever your need. This university is perfect!" says Bridget - read the whole review here.

The best and worst things about University of Leeds:

"Leeds as a city is incredibly student friendly and as for a worst thing...I can't think of one!"
Vitie, doing Medicine - Read more

"The best thing is the vast number of students and the great variety of people which makes it very easy to enjoy the social aspects of the city and make friends quickly. The worst thing for me has been housing so far. Halls were excellent in first year but our landlord in second year was a disaster. "
Jamie, doing History - Read more

"The Student Union is amazing. It is the best I have seen for any university. There are countless restuarants/eateries and lots of different clubnights. The university radio is fantastic. There is even a space for students called the Peanut gallery that they can use at their disposal for any purpose (it is usually associated with political campaigning groups)."
Bridget, doing Communication Studies - Read more

"The University itself is brilliant, its the largest campus university ( I think! ) and its planted right next to the city centre. The best thing would have to be Student Union, which I think was voted the best union in the country this year. It has 3 clubs,2 bars, a supermarket and more. Worst thing is that it has to come to an end (lame I know!)!"
Joseph, doing Physical Geography - Read more

"Fun, lots of people, vibrant, good city, nightlife. Everyone is quite spread out, not many teaching hours. "
Fred, doing History Of Art - Read more

"The best thing is the campus feel to the university making it seem private and separate even though it is walking distance to the city centre. Worst thing would be the lack of sporting facilities; there are pitches but not in great condition, no running track, no pool and a pretty small gym, though I think a new one could be being built as we speak!?"
Jonathan, doing Architectural Engineering - Read more

"The University of Leeds is a brilliant uni; the city is fantastic and the student union is the best in the country. There's always something to do and plenty of societies to join and everyone is really friendly. The worst thing I think is the accommodation which is quite expensive."
David, doing Chemistry - Read more
