The best and worst things about University of Manchester:

"It has a massive campus in the city which is good and easily acessible.Halls of residence were all good. Lots of students! The worst thing is the facilities provided by the union!"

"Large student population with lots of facilities."
Bobby, doing Mathematics - Read more

"The best thing is everything being so close together. There isn't too much distance between the two campus sites with free bus travel. The worst is the Student Union activites."
Lucy, doing Chemistry - Read more

"It's a massive university with a wide range of students making for a very sociable place to be. The uni offers a wide range of courses and the is academically challenging. Unfortunately the library can become full at exam and essay times making it difficult to revise and sometimes there is a lack of popular texts within the library too. However overall the university is indeed of a very high standard."
Stephanie , doing English - Read more

"best thing is the city, manchester is amazing, always something going on, so many nights out and something to suit everyone. worst thing would be the bus ride in to uni, most students live in fallowfield which is a short bus journey which is not enjoyable on a hangover at 9 oclock in the morning."
Sarah, doing Law and Criminology - Read more

"The bursary scheme is excellent & I enjoy getting involved in the Students' Union. The worst things are contact hours & feedback."
Henny, doing Economics and Social Studies (Politics) - Read more
